As a Program Officer, Mr. Miguel helps FSVC implement practical, results-oriented activities in Angola. Prior to joining FSVC, he served as a program assistant at the African Union Commission´s Political Affairs, Peace and Security Department, working towards the aspirations of the African Union Agenda 2063 (Prosperous, Peaceful and Integrated Africa). Mr. Miguel is alumnus of the Mandela Washington Fellowship program, Public Management track from Virgina Tech – (SPIA – School of Public and International Affairs) in the USA. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Atlantic International University, and currently pursuing a Master in Conflict, Peace and Security by the UNITAR and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.  He is fluent in English, French and Portuguese.
