As the Program and Communication Coordinator, Ms. Friend works closely with the New York Program and Finance teams, senior-level volunteer experts and FSVC’s global field staff by providing communication, logistical and administrative support in order to enhance the efficiency of the organization.

Prior to joining the FSVC team, Ms. Friend worked as a Language and Cultural Ambassador in Madrid, Spain for two years through the Spanish Ministry of Education. She also has a professional background in financial marketing and communications with a strong emphasis on Corporate Social Responsibility. Ms. Friend holds a BSc in Marketing and Spanish from the University of South Carolina.
