FSVC is looking for Open Data volunteer experts to work in Tunisia with national government institutions, municipalities and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to facilitate disclosure of public information in Open Data formats.  Typical activities, among others, include undertaking Open Data assessments; providing strategic support to government institutions on how publish datasets in open data formats, creation of Open Data web-templates (e.g., CKAN), guiding CSOs on how to provide Open Data assistance; organizing data jams and Hackathons to create added-value services based on Open Data.

This is an exciting chapter in FSVC’s work to encourage effective and accountable government institutions through more accessible and transparent data.  If you are an Open Data expert, or have experience in providing IT solutions to promote transparency and accountability, please consider joining our ranks as a volunteer expert in Tunisia!
