Between 2008 and 2013, FSVC worked with the Central Bank of Iraq to accelerate banking reform and sovereign financial asset management to maintain a solvent and stable dinar, contain inflation, and assist relevant Iraqi agencies in developing plans and programs of their own for institutional capacity development for the medium and the long term.

In 2021, FSVC launched a program to assist the Government of Iraq in increasing fiscal transparency. Additionally, in 2022, FSVC began a program on supporting and strengthening micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).

Current Programs

In November 2024, FSVC received funding from the U.S. Embassy Baghdad to implement a program strengthening the open budget process in Iraq.

Past Programs

In 2022, with funding from the U.S. Department of State, FSVC launched a program to strengthen micro, small and medium-sized enterprises’ (MSME) reforms, opportunities, and growth in Iraq.
FSVC launched a program to assist the Government of Iraq (GoI) in increasing transparency in the budget process and meet international standards in fiscal transparency.
With funding from the US Department of State’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs (Iraq Assistance), FSVC was able to work with the Central Bank of Iraq on its organizational development.
