FSVC Newsletter – Giving Tuesday

Watch the video above to learn how you can support FSVC’s mission!

Today is #GivingTuesday! On this occasion, we would like to share an update on the meaningful work FSVC has undertaken during 2024.

FSVC is completing a strong year! We are on track to deliver 164 projects across 24 countries by year end. FSVC is delivering high-quality programs in volatile environments, thanks to an agile approach, trusted relationships with local beneficiaries, and an unwavering focus on impact. In Sudan, for example, FSVC is equipping local journalists with the skills and tools to investigate and report on corruption in the extractive sector, in a context marked by a devastating civil war. In Iraq, despite an uncertain security situation, FSVC is helping to launch one of the first women’s business associations in that fragile country’s history. In Niger, despite a military coup in 2023, FSVC is building the capacity of local community organizations to support small agricultural enterprises. And in Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and remote Pacific Island countries, FSVC is strengthening local efforts to combat money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and corruption. FSVC technical assistance is helping to keep these countries connected to the global financial system.

FSVC’s mission has never been more essential. To respond to the growing demand we are encountering, private funds play a crucial role, giving us the flexibility to respond quickly to urgent needs.

Will you join us in making a difference in developing countries?

Thank you!
